High definition television is upon us - no longer some future technology. Just look in an electronics, appliance, or warehouse store. What do you see? Chances are, you already have HDTV now. We provide HD videos in many forms including Blu-ray disc, computer-compatible disc and computer files, and online forms.
"But how will I play my video in HD if I don't have one of those special disc players or even if I don't yet have an HDTV?"
Most Windows PCs and Macs built in 2003 or later are capable of playing HD, with or without an HDTV display connected. There are also websites such as Vimeo where you can set up an account to host short HD video segments.
If you own an HDTV, chances are your Blu-ray player, Apple TV, or personal computer can be used as the source.
How does computer-playback benefit you? (1) Enjoy your production in HD right now. (2) Easily play the production from your computer hard drive or portable flash drive - much faster than inserting the distributed disc, and saving that disc from possible damage. (3) Have a digital archive of your important event, protecting you from loss due to disc damage or detetioration.
A wonderful new option is the new Western Digital WD TV HD Media player, a small relatively inexpensive device that plays video from your portable hard drive, flash drive, or memory card reader direct to your HDTV.
As part of our production service, we'll help you enjoy your own video in HD, no matter what your chosen paths.
